certain vitamins)
2. Fresh meat
3. Automatic guns and explosives (see detailed
alcohol listing)
4. Spirit containing over 60% alcohol (see alcohol
listing)
5. Cordless phones.
FIREARMS
/ WEAPONS:
Must have import license from local police department
in Norway presented at time of customs clearance.
Shipper needs to prove ownership (preferably license
from country of origin.)
ALCOHOLIC
BEVERAGES / TOBACCO:
Alcohol over 60% considered a Narcotic!! Heavy
taxes and duties will apply. Detailed inventory
must be issued stating brands,volume,production
year and alcoholic strength. Tobacco/Cigarettes/Cigars
must be declared.
DUTIES:
HHG/PE are admitted duty free and VAT free provided
they have been in the possession of owner for
12 months prior to arrival date, and that the
owner has resided abroad for one year prior to
importation date.
VEHICLES:
Documents required: registration showing length
of ownership; passports and declaration from employer
re: length of stay outside Norway. Vehicle
must have been in possession of owner for 12 months
prior to arrival in Norway and arrive no later
than 3 months after owner.
