DOCUMENTATION:
(Foreigners coming to work-excluding L89/67 companies)
1. Certificate of secondary residence from nearest
consulate with detailed attached list of HHG.
2. Personal bank guarantee for amount of duties
3. House contract
4. Passport
5. Greeks repatriating, foreigners married to
Greeks, Greeks military and foreign EEC member
who have lived abroad for at least 2 years.
6. Certificate of repatriating from the nearest
Greek consulate.
7. Detailed attached list of HHG/PE.
8. Application for 5 years of residence permit
and deposit to customs of an amount equivalent
to duties until permit is obtained. Deposit then
be reimbursed.

FIREARMS
/ WEAPONS:
Weapons may not be imported into Greece. (Exeption:
import allowed only with license to carry arms
issued by the greek authorities.)
DUTIES:
One per kind of electrical appliances can be imported
duty free. Appliances can be new provided they
were purchased prior to date of "Issuance
of
certificate of repatriation". For foreigners
coming to work, VAT would apply if shipments are
imported from non EEC countries.
